⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐A beautiful hotel - but above all exceptional humanity and cordiality, I had actually booked six nights all-inclusive at the Oceana Hotel & Spa and was very much looking forward to my holiday in Hammamet. My first day here was also exactly how you imagine a perfect holiday: a beautiful and incredibly well-maintained complex, a wonderful private beach, extremely friendly and attentive service and a rich, very good buffet. Even with the all-inclusive offer, no wishes remain unfulfilled: the included drinks are clearly marked on the menu and the selection is more than sufficient. You really have everything your heart desires here.Unfortunately, my vacation took a completely unexpected turn after this first wonderful day. Due to a medical emergency, I had to go to the hospital in Hammamet and stay there for a whole week – even beyond the originally planned end of my vacation.Since I was not allowed to fly back to Germany on a normal scheduled flight after my discharge for medical reasons, I returned to the Oceana to book a room again.And right here I experienced something that goes far beyond good hotel service for me.When I described my situation to the receptionist, she met me with a warmth and a compassion that really touched me. Because I had been able to enjoy practically nothing from my originally booked holiday, the hotel offered me three more nights including all-inclusive completely free of charge.With this I never had gerechnet.Am In the end, after just one more night, I was given the opportunity to return to Germany on an ambulance flight. Nevertheless, the time after my return to Oceana and the hours I was still allowed to spend there were incredibly soothing after a very stressful week. I was once again able to enjoy the beautiful private beach, the well-kept complex, the good food and above all the warm atmosphere.Of course, you usually rate a hotel by room, food, resort, beach or service – and in all these respects the Oceana has absolutely convinced me. But what I will really remember is the humanity that was shown to me here in a difficult situation. Such a thing is not self-evident and cannot really be adequately evaluated with any star system.I would like to thank the entire team from the bottom of my heart and especially the wonderful employee at the reception for this extraordinary courtesy.That's why it's already clear to me: I'll be back next year. Then hopefully healthy, without hospital and ambulance flight - and this time for a long, wonderful holiday, where I can finally enjoy the Oceana as I originally intended.Thank you for this cordiality. ❤️

I stayed at this hotel from September 27 to October 7, 2026. The hotel is wonderful, everything is very close, the beach is big. The territory of the hotel is compact, but very beautiful. The rooms are free. It's better to take a view of the pool and partially of the sea. The staff is very polite and the attitude is friendly. There are very few of our compatriots, mostly Germans and French. The hotel is very quiet- for a secluded holiday. There are a lot of pensioners. I will definitely come back here!

Very good hotel. I was here at the end of September. The Hotel is about half full. Clean rooms, staff sensational. Absolute satisfaction. The Hotel is designed for adults.

After reading the negative reviews, we were a little apprehensive about staying at Oceana Hotel & Spa, although it was clear when researching the reviews that many appeared to be 'bots' or fake accounts.
Anyway, our stay here exceeded our expectations. The hotel was clean and staff were approachable and happy to help.
Our room was spacious and cleaned every day.
Food in the buffet was excellent with fresh cooked meats and fish alongside a variety of other local & international dishes. Service was always friendly and out glasses were always topped up.
Pool was clean and there were always plenty of beds available. Poolside bar service was excellent.
We stayed at the hotel and did not venture out on any excursions but we did walk to nearby Medinas along the beach in either direction where you can visit local restaurants, bars, markets and tourist shops.
We had a very enjoyable week here and the weather was perfect in September. We would certainly consider returning to this hotel and we'd encourage others to ignore the negative reviews.

The service and the staff are just great. No matter what, and you needed help, it was always helped. You should also not forget the staff at the pool, who were there as soon as you were at the lounger with the pads and towels on the spot. Also, no matter whether pool or beach was always asked if you want to drink something. The food was very good no matter what meals you always found something and it was delicious. But what I would like to note, the food could have been hotter. Furthermore, it would be better to label the food, also to possibly see if it is spicy. For vegans, it is well labeled. I can't complain about the cleanliness at all. The rooms were cleaned every day and the mini bar was also replenished every day. The hotel and the outdoor area were also clean and well maintained. The only thing I would complain about is that the bathroom needs to be renovated and it will have to be renewed in the future.

**men must wear long trousers for evening dinner. ***** bizarre , unfair , ridiculous....when holidaying recently found out only on arriving in needed long trousers...had to purchase a pair from hotels shop for £30.....no choice !!!!
But stupidly you can wear open style flip flops and very casual shirts with trousers making you look like you come straight from the pool...
Please managers look at your policy..
However, very nice hotel...very low key, poor entertainment in evening, very little to do but chill...elderly vibe to residents....food very good, small choices but fine..staff all very good...pool and gardens very well maintained.

The hotel has an impressive lobby, which is always clean and well-groomed. Many flowers that have been exchanged regularly spread a pleasant impression and fragrance. The room was very spacious and clean. The whole complex is very beautiful and spacious. There is enough space by the pool or on the beach. The staff was always friendly and very attentive. Especially in the restaurant and on the beach. We would have liked to take our waiter home with us. The WiFi could be a little better. Unfortunately, there were problems more often than not.
The entertainment program in the evening was also not very good. The singing was really not nice and the volume was much too loud, because this lobby is very big and it echoes very much.
We were at the Oceana for the 2nd time and would come back again.

Advantages: Very nice hotel, we had a good stay, and appreciated the location, the comfort and the services Disadvantages: Problem with a safe that was jamming. The only downside of our short stay.

Very very welcome.The receptionist explained us well the operation of the hotel with a glass of bienvenue.La the bedding is perfect.We were at the Hasdrubal hotel and I prefer this one in terms of hospitality and kindness.

A real 5 stars.. a magnificent beach with splendid infrastructure. The swimming pools especially the adults only are magnificent. We were upgraded to a presidential suite!no words just spectacular. The staff is very nice. Nothing to complain about.. we will come back without any problem!

Was at the Oceana for the 4th time and was happy about familiar faces and a warm hello! Sallah has fulfilled wishes again and everything is still worth 5 stars .What would be desirable in the near future to renovate the toilets at the pool bar and renew the worn floors in the rooms, otherwise it was like coming home.
